Coach & Staff Requirements
To ensure the safety and excellence of our program, all bench staff must complete the following certifications and background checks by the December 1 deadline.
Compliance
Technical Certification
Completion of Coach Level 1 or 2 as required by division. All required coaching certifications must be completed by December 1.
Safety
Hockey Manitoba safety program
Hockey Manitoba requires every registered team to have a certified Safety Person on the team’s roster by December 1st of the current season.
Legal
Background Check
A valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) must be completed and submitted through the RCMP portal annually.
Ethics
Respect in SportÂ
Essential Respect and Sport for Activity Leaders training for athlete safety; certification renewal is required every 3 years.
